Why Us?

Driving authorities say when looking for a driving school, look for one that`s been around for awhile and has had fewer complaints on file at the DMV. We have been around since 2007 and we have never had a complaint.

My name is John Carlson. I am the owner/operator of Curbside Driving School. That pleasant voice you hear when you call us is my wife Judy. We have been married since 1983. We have had a good partnership in marriage and our business. We are both retired. Judy as a pre-school teacher, and myself as a Teamster driver for 27 years. We have 6 children, all of whom are driving.

Curbside was established in 2001. We bought Curbside in 2007 because it had a good reputation we could build on. In our small town, in our type of business, reputation is everything. We continue training ourselves and learning more ways to get through to our students. This is why at no time will you see us with multiple students in the car. The six hours required is behind the wheel, not in the back seat.
